MarketWatch

A standing board that reads a store's full catalog on a schedule and stores every price and stock change as history — so a price drop or a stock-out is flagged the moment it happens, not the next time someone remembers to check.

The dashboard shows today's biggest movers up top, then the full board with a 14-day price trace on every product.

Problem

Teams check competitor prices by hand, one browser tab at a time.

Live data poller

Raw activity from a public API is unreadable in its native form. This project polls two REST APIs, parses the responses into positions, running P&L, and a trade log, and refreshes a dark dashboard every ten seconds.

The same shape — poll, parse, store, display — is what most "watch this data for me" jobs come down to.

Problem

Live API responses are noise until something turns them into readable state.
